  Tapalpa means the land of colors, and this little town nestled in the mountains of Jalisco lives up to its name. The town features old buildings, interesting markets, and lots of history. The mountains that surround the town are filled with opportunity for hikes, horse riding, and breathtaking views of the natural beauty of the area. Tapalpa lies about 90 minutes south of Guadalajara. Casa Tapalpa is a large eclectic Hacienda-style home just outside of town. The home has 4 bedrooms, 3-1/2 bathrooms, a study, an enclosed porch and open deck.
